2015 has been a busy and exciting year for the ImpactTulsa partnership. As we move forward with this unprecedented cross sector partnership focused on data driven strategies to improve student success, we have engaged in new conversations and are navigating exciting new territory. We have launched the initial work teams around our priority outcomes. With the work of Janell Chery, Director of Research and Analysis and data specialists from our partner districts we continue to work on building more robust data around all of our six outcomes. Those outcomes are:
- Kindergarten Readiness
- Third grade Reading
- Eighth grade Math
- High School Completion College & Career Ready
- Post-secondary Entry
- Post-secondary Completion
With the engagement of our Leadership Council, our work this year has focused on identifying and bringing together a cross-section of partners to launch work teams on our priority outcomes for 2015. To that end, two initial collaboratives were launched and have begun their work with enthusiasm.

The initial meetings of each collaborative focused on identifying data gaps, and developing a shared data-driven action plan. ImpactTulsa and our partners at STRIVETOGETHER are providing continuous improvement coaching and facilitation to maximize engagement and efficiency, continue to provide robust data and ensure an ongoing focus on results.
We have met with the leadership teams of several partner school districts and reviewed data with many of the superintendents in our districts. We are already beginning to identify best practices. Your partnership is making a difference and we have only just begun.
With the work of our collaboratives, we continue to add new partners to our work. Implementing this work requires a new way of openness in bringing people together and a new conversation. It is working!
