Gloria Rubio is a dedicated first-generation graduate who recently earned her Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from the University of Oklahoma, complemented by minors in Spanish and Digital Marketing. She is excited to begin her role as a Manager of Strategy and Activation at ImpactTulsa, where she looks forward to applying her academic and practical experience to drive meaningful change.
During her time at OU, Gloria played a pivotal role in the Miracle Mindset program, which supports first-generation, low-income high school students. Her work with this program deepened her insight into the challenges within the education system and strengthened her commitment to fostering positive change. Her campus involvement was extensive, including positions as a Diversity Enrichment Programs intern and a President’s Leadership Class student adviser. Gloria’s dedication was recognized with her inclusion in the University of Oklahoma’s Top Ten Seniors and the Letzeiser Honor List.
Outside of her professional life, Gloria values quality time with her loved ones and her pet cat, Bolin. She is passionate about painting in various mediums, including watercolor, acrylic, and oil. In her downtime, she enjoys playing pickleball and exploring thrift stores for unique finds.
Gloria is thrilled to embark on this new chapter as a Manager of Strategy and Activation at ImpactTulsa. She is excited to collaborate with such an amazing team and to continue making a meaningful difference in the community.
